Important Dates for 2027 First-Year Applicants
- August 1 – Application Opens
- October 1 - Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Opens
- November 1 - Early Action I Application Deadline and Top Merit Scholarship Deadline
- December 1 - Early Action II Application Deadline, Departmental Scholarship Deadline, and Belmont FAFSA Priority Date
- March 1 - Regular Decision Application Deadline and Priority Deposit Deadline for Admitted Students (claim your first-choice room type and Orientation date; based on availability)
- May 1 – National College Decision Day (enrollment deposit deadline for admitted students)
- June 2027 – Summer Orientation
- August 25, 2027 – First Day of Classes
Important Dates for 2027 Transfer Applicants
- August 1 – Belmont and Common Application opens (for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027)
- September 15 –The first round of admissions decisions are sent. We use a rolling admissions schedule which means once an application file becomes complete, your student should receive a decision in 1-2 weeks.
- December 1 - FAFSA Opens
- November 1 – Application deadline for Spring 2027 applicants
- July 1 – Application deadline for Fall 2027 applicants
Meet the Vice President for Enrollment
Dr. Chris Gage, leads all aspects of Belmont’s Enrollment Services Division, including overseeing University Admissions, Student Financial Services and the Office of Student Success & Flourishing. He also serves on the Provost’s Executive Council and works collaboratively with college deans in making decisions related to University operations, strategic growth, retention practices and student success. An 18-year veteran of higher education, Gage is also an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and previously served as president of the Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling. A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with an MBA from Xavier University, Gage received his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Higher Education from the University of Nebraska.
