Spiritual Life

Explore your purpose and live out your faith. In our inclusive, Christ-centered community, you’ll discover your calling and find your place in the world.

A Place of Welcome

At Belmont, we believe your purpose goes far beyond what you do for a living. That’s why we offer so many opportunities to ask questions, examine your beliefs and contribute to a hopeful future.

As the largest ecumenical Christian university in the United States, we live out our values every day. We welcome students, faculty and staff from all faith traditions – and of none – to our journey of discovery and impact. Through worship services, volunteer opportunities and academic programs of study, we support your spiritual well-being in the classroom and beyond.

For example, our Into.Nashville program takes you to the diverse communities of Nashville to work on social justice issues and see how others are seeking to transform the world. Our Spring Break immersion trips take you all across the country to see God’s work in action and join local ministries in awareness and mission.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, we’ll support you in discovering your purpose and growing into the person you were meant to be.

“This is a great college if you plan on doing something to change the world one day. You will learn and grow beyond what you may have previously thought. Belmont has also allowed me to grow closer to God.”
