Ready to Start?
To be eligible to receive financial assistance under the Tennessee STEP grant, companies are required to complete the following steps and forms.
There are two versions of each form available: 1) preferred online Jotform; or 2) Adobe Acrobat PDF version.
- Jotform Version (preferred) Jotform is an online tool that allows us to collect applicant data securely and store it in an encrypted format.
- Acrobat Version If you choose the Acrobat version, you must first download the PDF form to your computer and then use Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat software, latest version, to successfully complete the PDF fillable form. Not all PDF features will work as intended when opened in a browser, so it’s best to download the form first. The Adobe Reader software is available for free on the Adobe website.

Prepare
Prepare an Export Strategy and Plan. Review the Eligibility Criteria and Program Guidelines to ensure you are eligible for participation.
Register
Register by submitting the STEP Readiness Questionnaire
Await Notification
TEI will notify your company if it meets the eligibility and readiness requirements for the STEP grant program.
Apply
Submit your Tennessee STEP application form before the activity takes place and before the application deadline.
Await Notification
TEI will notify your company if it is approved for STEP grant funding.
Execute
Perform the pre-approved export activity and document participation.
Closeout
Submit the reimbursement request and share your outcomes with the TEI team.
