Summer Winds Band Camp

June 13-19, 2027

The Belmont University Band Camp is a unique summer camp event for students entering grades 7-12 (ages 11-18). Camp participants study under the artistic guidance of the outstanding Belmont instrumental and ensemble faculty. Opportunities include large ensembles, small ensembles and class lessons.

Daily Schedule:

Daily activities include large ensemble rehearsals and class lessons. Class lessons are arranged by instrument and are taught by Belmont applied wind and percussion faculty, giving each student the opportunity to receive personal attention. Evening activities include faculty performances and group social experiences. The camp culminates with chamber and large ensemble concerts on Friday and Saturday performed by the camp participants.

2027 Costs:

Resident Camper: $850

Grades 9-12 ONLY
Application Fee: $100 (applies toward tuition)

Commuter Camper: $550

Application Fee: $100 (applies toward tuition)
No Dorm Accommodations
Includes Daily Lunches

Eligibility

The Summer Winds Band Camp is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion students who will enter grades 7-12 (ages 11-18) in the upcoming fall semester. Students in grades 7-8 will only by eligible to attend as Commuter Campers. In the event that any instrument reaches capacity, applicant will be put in a wait list.

Housing & Meals

On-Campus Housing is only available for minors (under 18 at the time of camp). Campers will be housed in Belmont University residence halls. Roommates will be assigned randomly by gender unless roommate requests are indicated on the registration form. While in the residence halls, campers will be under the careful supervision of the camp staff, and security will be a priority.

All meals will be served on campus. Accommodations for food allergies are available.
