Fall Semester 2025
| August 14-18 | Move-in days |
| August 20 | First day of fall semester classes |
| September 1 | Labor Day (no classes) |
| October 13-14 | Fall Break (no classes - residence halls remain open) |
| November 26-28 | Thanksgiving Break (no classes - residence halls remain open) |
| December 3-4 | Academic Preparation Days |
| December 5-11 | Final exams* |
| December 13 | All residential complexes (except for Hillside & Belmont Commons) close for Winter Break at 3pm |
Spring Semester 2026
| January 5 | Residential complexes reopen for returning students at 12pm (noon) |
| January 7 | First day of spring semester classes |
| January 19 |

| March 2-6 | Spring Break (no classes - residence halls remain open) |
| April 2-6 | Easter Break (no classes - break ends 4pm on 4/21 - residence halls open) |
| April 30 | Academic Preparation Day |
| May 1-7 | Final Exams* |
| May 9 | All residential complexes close at 6pm - students should vacate their spring assignment unless transitioning to summer term housing |
*In anticipation of hall closing, residents should plan to be out of their residential assignment within 24 hours of their last final exam unless participating in commencement activities (or transitioning to winter/summer term housing). Residents do NOT have to remove their belongings for winter break, but they will have to fully move out and check out at the end of the spring semester. Campus housing remains open during other university closings and breaks (such as fall and spring breaks).
