Nashville has a new medical school

The Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University, first announced in October 2020, is the newest medical school to come to Nashville.

And our belief in a whole-person approach to health care informs everything we do – from education, to clinical experiences, to the leadership team we’ve selected.

Focused on training diverse physician leaders who embrace and value a whole-person approach to healing, the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine has been established in alliance with HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading providers of health care services and one of the College of Medicine’s major clinical affiliates.
