The Rev. Charlie Curb Center for Faith Leadership announces a 20-minute, every-other-week podcast titled "A Moment that Matters with Dr. Jon Roebuck." The goal of the podcast is to amplify the ongoing work of the Rev. Charlie Curb Center for Faith Leadership by challenging and equipping Christ-followers to be relevant to culture, relational in community and authentic in living out a Christ-centered life.
Building on the weekly "CBS Sunday Morning" “Moment that Matters” audience and theme, this podcast provides devotional thoughts, meaningful dialogue and interviews, insightful teaching and storytelling around the intersection of faith and culture. Potential interviewees will include local pastors and denominational leaders, Belmont faculty, singers and songwriters, community leaders and religious influencers.
Who is Dr. Jon Roebuck?
Dr. Jon R. Roebuck became the executive director of the Reverend Charlie Curb Center for Faith Leadership in June of 2016. With more than 32 years of pastoral experience, Dr. Roebuck knows the needs, pressure points, hurdles and cultural challenges faced by leaders of faith-based organizations. Building on his experience, research data and conversations with leaders throughout Middle Tennessee, Dr. Roebuck continues to build an innovative learning environment for people to gain the tools needed to perform effective and relevant ministry in the 21st century.
