You should receive an welcome email from mybelmont@belmont.edu within 2 days of your enrollment deposit being processed. This welcome email will be sent to the personal email address(es) that you have given Belmont and will contain your Belmont email address, temporary password, and basic setup instructions.
If you do not receive this email within 2 days of paying your enrollment deposit, please check your spam/junk folder to be sure that it wasn't inadvertantly filtered there. If you still do not see the message, please contact the Service Desk by email at servicedesk@belmont.edu or by phone at 615-460-8888. Please include your BUID when contacting the Service Desk.

There are several reasons why you may find a credit on your account. This can be due to an excess of aid, some of which may be eligible for a refund, or due to an administrative drop. Regardless, Belmont Central can help you determine why the credit balance is appearing and give advice on how to resolve or utilize the credit balance.
- Login to your My Belmont account
- Click “Make Payment”
- Click “Refunds”
- Input the account information for the refund deposit

Currently enrolled students may view their unofficial transcript by logging into their My Belmont account and clicking “Personal Records.”
Belmont University now offers health insurance to Graduate students. All graduate students taking 6 or more credit hours are automatically enrolled in the insurance plan. There is the option to opt-out if students can provide proof of comparable coverage. Eligible students who do enroll may also ensure their Dependents, including Domestic Partners, on a voluntary basis.
Belmont currently does not offer health insurance to undergraduate students.

There are a variety of holds that may be on you account. Most common are policy holds, accounts receivable holds, advisor holds, or Stafford exit counseling holds. Let’s break down some of those potential holds that may be inhibiting your from registering for classes or accessing your academic records:
- Policy Hold: You need to agree to Belmont University’s policy code. This hold will appear on your My Belmont home page and be removed automatically once it’s signed.
- Accounts Receivable Hold: There is an unpaid balance on your account. You can monitor your current balance by going to you My Belmont Account and clicking “Make Payment.” Once you’ve made a payment, the hold will manually be removed.
- Advisor Hold: You need to meet with your advisor regarding upcoming registration. Once you’ve met with your advisor, they will manually remove this hold.
- Stafford Exit Counseling Hold: You’re graduating or leaving the university. You need to complete Stafford Loan Exit Counseling by going to https://www.studentaid.gov/ , clicking “Manage Loans” and then “Complete Exit Counseling.”
