Biography
Dr. Lefler brings more than 26 years of pharmacy practice experience to Belmont. She previously worked as a pharmacist for corporate and independent pharmacist with specific focus in compounding bio-identical hormone replacement treatment and nutritional support. She later worked over 8 years in a long-term care setting specializing in psychotropic drug use and falls in the elderly.
Dr. Lefler joined the Belmont University Pharmacy program in 2013 and is currently the Stakeholder Engagement Liaison. She serves the pharmacist on duty, and together with Belmont Health Services, provides travel consultations for members of our community. As a CPHS team member, she works with the Office of Experiential Education where she reviews experiential sites. Dr. Lefler also assists with alumni engagement and event planning for the college.
