Biography

Jessica Savage joined Belmont University in the fall of 2010 as an adjunct clinical faculty and is now working as an Assistant Professor and clinical coordinator. She has taught in foundations, medical-surgical, obstetrics, & community health clinical courses as well as in skills labs and simulations over the last 14 years.

Jessica is a has a background as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), with experience in well-women care and outpatient obstetrics. Jessica has also practiced in adult medical/surgical nursing, hospice home care, and Infectious disease.

Jessica recently graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Belmont University and plans to continue her scholarly work in clinical education and faculty development.

Personal Note
I love the Art of Nursing; being creative with the scientific knowledge we have to care for patients and families in a way that acknowledges and celebrates their humanity. I have not found a better way to practice this than to share my passion with nursing students in the clinical setting.
