Biography

Geo Rim is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in various fields such as information and communication technology, film, music, and virtual reality. Currently, he serves as the President of Ocean Way East, a company that provides consulting and solutions for the music and media industry. He is also the Chair of VRtru, which is a professional consulting start-up that focuses on operating policy and ethical regulation in the Metaverse. In addition to these roles, Geo Rim was the Chair Professor, Department of Information and Communication at the University of Suwon, South Korea. Prior to his current positions, he served as a Ranking Secretary of State Advisor in the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in Cambodia and was the International Marketing Director of Ocean Recording in Hollywood and was American Film Institute Conservatory Alumnus – Producing Fellow, Producing Program and has served as the Chief Advisor of the Korean VR/AR Industry Association in the Ministry of Science and ICT.
