Biography
Dr. David J. Park is a dual board-certified family physician, seasoned medical educator, and nationally recognized leader in osteopathic medicine. His career includes roles as medical school dean, residency program director, and president of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). As a certified executive coach, he is passionate about cultivating purpose-driven leadership, wellness, and spiritual growth in the next generation of physician leaders.
Dr. Park brings more than two decades of experience in osteopathic medical education, marked by a deep commitment to nurturing faculty excellence and building supportive academic environments. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Founding Dean of Rocky Vista University – Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he led the development of comprehensive faculty support systems from the ground up.
A devoted follower of Christ, Dr. Park leads with humility, integrity, and a heart for service. He and his wife Susan, married for 30 years, have raised two adult children who are both training to become physicians. Outside of work, Dr. Park enjoys auto sports, movies, and video production—and brings a touch of Montana with his love of western culture, cowboy hats, and boots.
