Chesley Taylor

Biography

Chesley Anne Taylor, MS serves as the Grant Financial Administrator in the Office of Sponsored Programs. She has been part of the Belmont University community for more than seven years, serving in a variety of roles that support faculty and staff. In her current position, she manages financial aspects of grants, helping faculty navigate budgeting, compliance, and spending so they can focus on the impactful work their funding makes possible. Prior to joining the Office of Sponsored Programs, Chesley worked in the Provost’s Office, where she supported faculty programs, academic processes, and institutional operations—an experience that provided her with a broad, interconnected perspective of the university. She is passionate about empowering faculty to confidently manage their grants, developing creative solutions, and inspiring others to think boldly about future research and program opportunities.
