Biography

Allison Koch is currently the Vice Chair for the School of OT and an Assistant Professor, teaching in the MSOT, OTD, and PPOTD programs. Before joining Belmont in spring 2015, she spent 11 years at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital as a full-time clinician, focusing on neuro-based interventions. During that time, Allison also served as the Program Director for disease-specific committees, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Her current research interests include supporting graduate student success, fostering interdisciplinary education, and promoting student wellness. Outside of her professional life, Allison loves spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, reading, enjoying live music, and being tolerated by her opinionated cavapoo, Nellie.
